Scarborough, was the first seaside resort and still offers grand esplanade walks with breathtaking views, award winning gardens and classic architectural landmarks. Some of the best beaches you will find anywhere can be found along the Jurassic coast where fossils are simply waiting to be found among the rock pools.
The modern marina sits neatly inside the medieval harbour and is overlooked by the 10th century Scarborough castle and Roman signal station. The town offers many cultural attractions: the nationally acclaimed Stephen Joseph Theatre, the Scarborough Spa and the Open Air Theatre ensure there’s lots to see.
