Where to Go

Scarborough has a wealth of attractions for a many visitor. It’s not just about buckets and spades, fish and chips and candy floss (though of course this is still a great aspect of the town)

Scarborough, the first seaside resort still offer grand esplanade walks with breathtaking views, award winning gardens and classic architectural landmarks. Some of the best beaches you will find anywhere can be found along the Jurassic coast where fossils are simply waiting to be found among the rock pools

The modern marina sits neatly inside the medieval harbour and is overlooked by the 10th century Scarborough castle and Roman signal station. The town offers many cultural attractions: the nationally acclaimed Stephen Joseph theatre offers touring production that would be proud to sit in any London Theatre. The Rotunda museum recently nominated for the Art fund price 2009 is well worth a visit.

On our doorstep are many other gems Castle Howard and the Abbey’s Rievaulx and Bylands are just a short car ride away as is Pickering home of the steam railway and of course York itself is only one hour away.
